If you’re looking for ways to kick your procrast If you’re looking for ways to kick your procrastination to the curb (SAVE + SHARE) this post. I’m still a work in progress— but these steps have really helped me to get off my keister and get stuff done.

1.	Break down your goal into small achievable tasks and hold yourself accountable. Adding smaller and easier things to my to-do list makes me see the incremental progress I’m making. And it’s a great boost to keep me going.

2.	Create a plan & schedule that works best for you and your lifestyle. There’s no one size fits all approach to any task. As a wife and mom with a full-time gig and side hustle, I know that if it’s gonna get done on time or at all…it has to fit in with my other priorities.

3.	Remove distractions. Turn off the notifications on your phone and computer. If you have too many distractions at home, leave the house and go to a coffee shop or local library for some peace & quiet.

4.	Focus on your desired end result. Keep the end game in front of you at all times. That can prove to be a good motivator.

5.	Finally, don’t forget to reward yourself. When I get a particularly difficult task done, I treat myself to a session in the sauna.

How do you overcome procrastination?

If you’re looking for cheap air fares to cool de If you’re looking for cheap air fares to cool destinations (both near and far), [SAVE + SHARE] here are our favorite apps/sites to help you find flight deals.

✈️ Google Flights: I start all of my travel searches on this site. I check out the suggested trips from my home airport first, and then I use the search feature to plug in the destinations and possible dates. Once your dates are loaded, you can then scroll to see other cheap fares and dates on the calendar. You can also set up a travel alert for a destination that you’re interested in. Google will then email you an alert every time the price changes.

✈️ @scottscheapflights : This site provides a daily list of cheap flight deals. However, the best deals are reserved for premium users. I pay the $40 annual fee and receive an email almost every day alerting me of travel deals in and around my home airport.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
✈️ @skyscanner : This is a great resource especially if you’re flexible with when and where you’re going. You can use this site to find deals from your destination by selecting the month you’re interested in traveling and then select “Everywhere” as your destination to find some sweet deals.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
✈️ @secretflying : This site provides a list of up-to-the-minute updates on mistake fares and travel deals.

✈️ @travelpirates : This website is also free and provides a daily list of vacation packages and flight deals.

✈️ @theflightdeal : This site also provides a daily list of cheap flight deals. You can subscribe to get a free email each day with a list of all the best travel deals. This service is free, and it’s not tailored to your home destination.

If you’re a budget traveler, remember to search for the travel deal & be flexible with your destination.

How to overcome imposter syndrome? [Save + Share t How to overcome imposter syndrome? [Save + Share this post]

I had an opportunity recently to write for a major outlet (magazine), and my imposter syndrome kicked into high gear almost immediately.

If you’re like me and struggle with imposter syndrome, take the following steps:

1.	Practice self-compassion and positive self-talk.

2.	Remind yourself that you are a Bad Mama Jamma.
You can do this by focusing on your strengths and accomplishments. This will help boost your self-confidence and remind you of how awesome you are.

3.	Set realistic goals and break down larger tasks into achievable steps.

No matter how large a project is, it’s doable in smaller bite-sized chunks.

4.	Get a cheerleader or two.
I wouldn’t be able to do anything without my support system. My husband and mom are always on deck to help a sister out. They both offer me encouragement and guidance.

What do you do to overcome imposter syndrome?

If you’re planning a visit to Egypt, I HIGHLY re If you’re planning a visit to Egypt, I HIGHLY recommend taking a cruise along the Nile River. We almost didn’t opt in for it because Austen and I suffer from motion sickness and I didn’t want to chance it.

But I decided that I didn’t want to miss out on a once in a lifetime experience. I’m so glad I took the chance. The river cruise was so smooth that neither of us got sick at all. There were a few times I didn’t even notice we were moving until I went up on the deck or looked out the window.

All in all, our Nile River Cruise cost about $575 per person but that price included our internal flights from Cairo to Aswan and the. From Luxor back to Cairo. We booked the cruise through our guide @loai_rami_elshaer

Check my stories for a breakdown of the day to day activities on the Nile River Cruise.
How to save money during your family vacation [SAV How to save money during your family vacation [SAVE + SHARE]

Travel expenses can add up quickly. Here are a few tips you can use to cut cost on your next family vacation:

• Stay in a vacation rental or any accommodation with a kitchen. This will help you cut back on the expense of eating out 3 meals a day. After we check-in, we usually go to a grocery store to pick up enough food for a few meals.

• Consider not staying close to all the action. If you stay on the outskirts of a destination, it
provides great savings since everything from
accommodations, gas, and even groceries are cheaper the further away from tourist centers.

• Decide on a budget before your trip and stick to it. I found that it’s easiest to stick to your budget when you use cash. That way, you will know exactly when your well runs dry.

• Avoid souvenir shops. Instead visit the local Target or Walmart to get more affordable souvenirs for your friends and family.
